Get Ready / JGW+
Get Ready is available for 16-19 year olds every Monday to Thursday throughout the summer from July 3rd - August 31st.
This 8 week course is designed to support you with sector specific employability skills and prepare you for Sixth Form, college, work or an apprenticeship.
You’ll get up to £60 per week plus a food allowance of £3.90 per day. Also, any transport costs are reimbursed.

We will create a personal development plan together to help you achieve your career goals. Work on vocational skills in a relaxed and informal setting, be active in our fun sport coaching sessions, get qualified and learn about career choices in your area.
Job Growth Wales +
Jobs Growth Wales + is for those students who may need more than 8 weeks to overcome any barriers, work on their confidence, gain essential skills before progressing onto an apprenticeship.
The Job Growth Wales + scheme continues all year round and focuses on two areas:
The course culminates with a 4 week work placement to provide you with a practical occupational experience that is beneficial to your desired career path.
